This last week while I was at Winco (a grocery store here in Oregon), an elderly lady came up to me and said that she is jealous of me. At first I didn't understand why and then she proceeded to tell me that she was jealous of the fact that I had two little babies still and that her youngest was in their 50's.
It made me realize that even after a somewhat harder week with the kids being sick and whiny, I am very grateful for the two of them and what they have brought to my life, which is more joy and happiness than I could have ever imagined. And that without a doubt when I am 85, I will feel like that lady at Winco, who is jealous of that girl in the grocery store with her babies.

So glad that you started a blog and loved reading your two posts! Glad to hear the kids are feeling better and hopefully no more breakdowns in the doctors office. I have had several of those crying moments.
