Reflection

This last week while I was at Winco (a grocery store here in Oregon), an elderly  lady came up to me and said that she is jealous of me.  At first I didn't understand why and then she proceeded to tell me that she was jealous of the fact that I had two little babies still and that her youngest was in their 50's.
It made me realize that even after a somewhat harder week with the kids being sick and whiny, I am very grateful for the two of them and what they have brought to my life, which is more joy and happiness than I could have ever imagined.  And that without a doubt when I am 85, I will feel like that lady at Winco, who is jealous of that girl in the grocery store with her babies.

and let's face it who wouldn't be jealous of this!

  1. So glad that you started a blog and loved reading your two posts! Glad to hear the kids are feeling better and hopefully no more breakdowns in the doctors office. I have had several of those crying moments.
