I have finally joined the blog world and we will see how long I last.  I love to look at other peoples and see what they are up to, so I might as well do one too:)

To start, I guess I will go over the last couple of weeks in the Champion house.  Let's see where do I begin!  Let's just say my children will live in a bubble forever and never leave the house!  I guess that's not practical, but in some ways I kinda wish it was.
Risa got croup and the poor thing couldn't even "talk". She was all raspy and couldn't eat; it was so sad to watch her try.  She finally got the steroid needed to make her feel better and let me tell you it was after one too many visits to the doctor for that to happen.  Anyways, then we were fine for about a week and our poor Jaxon started with a cough!!!  And then it progressed to not sleeping and then coughing so hard he made himself sick.  After about three days of no sleep  I finally made the appt. at the doctors and off we went. I will just take you through my journey to just get into the doctors office.  We arrive, both kids are sound asleep.  Oh how I don't want to wake them up but I have to in order to get them in. I start the process with the oldest thinking I will give him time to wake up while I get Risa out of her car seat.  That didn't go over so well.  He cried and refused to walk.  I, feeling bad for him, carry him to the other side of the car to get his sister, who by the way can not walk on her own and must be carried.  I put him on the floor of the car (still crying). I get Risa out and then I realize that no one can or will walk and I have to not only carry two kids in but a bag as well.  So I pick up both kids and grab the bag and walk towards the doctor's office, with not one but both children crying at this time.  I make it to the doors and then I realize that there are two sets of doors that I have to open while holding a two year old and an almost one year old and a bag.  We make it through, I go to the desk to check in, they ask me for my ID to prove that I am their parent, I pull it out of bra, that's right my bra because I had thought about this earlier and I thought it would be the best place for it, you know for convenience sake.  The lady looked at me like I was crazy but took it and scanned anyways.  And then I think to myself, we made it.  We can all sit and relax now.
We get called back and are asked the usual doctor questions and poking and prodding to find out whats wrong.  The kids are pulling  hair (Risa) while the other yells for them to stop (Jaxon), while both are trying to sit on my lap. Then the doctor says Jaxon has ear infections in both ears.  At this point I start to cry and say "I feel like such a bad mom." to the doctor, who looks at me and has no idea what to say but that "you are a good mom." I think my reaction might be from lack of sleep or just wiped out with dealing with two little kids who aren't feeling well.  Needless to say I felt like such a loser for losing it in the doctors office. We made it through the rest of the appt. with no other problems got the meds and were on our way to being happy again.  Then Risa got even more sick and well, we're back at the doctors a few days later and she too had ear infections.  So I hope we are on the home stretch of this, because next time they have to go to the doctors I vote for Bob to take them:)
